Shanti Ramaswamy

I am an English teacher with an M.A. in English, a B.Ed, and an IELTS Diploma, offering online lessons for upper primary and middle school students. I work with learners who want to strengthen their foundation in English and feel more confident using the language in school and everyday life.

My teaching style is clear, supportive, and structured. I break concepts into simple, manageable steps and check understanding regularly so students never feel lost or afraid to ask questions. Lessons focus on building strong skills in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary, with plenty of guided practice to help new learning stick.

I believe that every child can make real progress with the right guidance and encouragement. I create a positive, patient learning environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. Over time, students gain confidence, participate more actively, and learn how to express themselves more clearly in English.

All lessons are online, making it easier to fit regular, consistent study into a busy schedule. Together, we set realistic goals, track progress, and celebrate improvement so that students feel motivated and parents can see how their child is developing in English.
