  MentorMaam currently serves Delhi NCR. In‑person lessons are available in Delhi, and online lessons are available everywhere. The platform is female‑only: only female tutors and only female students.

  No, MentorMaam does not take a commission from your lessons. Tutors only pay a monthly membership fee for visibility and tools.

• How can I pay the monthly membership fee?

  You can pay the monthly membership fee with credit or debit payment cards.

• How are tutors ranked?

  Tutors are ranked by the quality of their profiles and the reviews they have received from their students. Thus, professors who:

  • offer more options for classes;
  • have left a phone number as a contact;
  • added a suitable profile picture;
  • have written a detailed and meaningful biography;
  • received positive student reviews;

  If you need help or suggestions regarding your profile moderation, our team is at your disposal.

• What if I have no experience in online tutoring?

  Don't worry. You're not the first tutor to be in that situation. We will regularly send you emails with tips and guidance to help you get used to it quickly. Of course, you can always contact us for additional explanations, examples of good practice, and instructions.

• What equipment do I need for online tutoring?

  All you need to teach an online class is a stable internet connection and a webcam on your computer, laptop, or mobile phone. We will also provide you with tips, know-how, and suggestions on maximizing your tutoring experience.

• What if my subject does not exist during registration?

  No problem, we will add it for you.

  There are currently more than 400 subjects and courses to choose from on the platform. If your subject is not listed, enter its name and press enter within Step 1 of your registration process. We will verify it and add it to the listing in no time.

• How will the students get in touch with me?

  That also depends on your preference - we are suggesting adding your phone number beside the email address for maximum flexibility. They can also send you messages through the built-in chat app. You will be notified instantly of any received message via push notification, email, and SMS (depending on your plan).

  No, the platform is entirely free for students. You can search through a vast database of tutors and make appointments right after registration.

  Our platform serves to connect students and tutors directly. Each professor chooses the way and organization of teaching for himself. The platform does not influence them.

• What is the price of classes?

  Professors determine the price of their classes. The platform does not interfere with the price or the duration of lessons.

• How can I schedule a lesson?

  Open a tutor’s profile and click "Book a lesson".

  Choose whether you want to contact the tutor by email, phone, or chat.

• Can I leave a review for a tutor?

  Yes, and please do — it helps other students choose the right female tutor.

  Visit the profile of the tutor with whom you had a lesson, find the "Rate experience with a tutor" button, and share your feedback.

• Is it OK to ask a tutor for a discount?

  No, it's not OK.

  We are encouraging tutors to create their offers as they see fit. If it does not suit you, you can find a more affordable tutor in the database.

• What do I need for an online class?

  Internet connection, computer, laptop, or mobile phone with webcam, and you are ready to learn! You will quickly agree upon other details with your chosen tutor.

• Why is it necessary to verify my phone number during registration?

  To ensure the highest level of security for your profile. This step will improve communication with professors, enable you to always be up to date, and never be late for a scheduled class.
